Utamaro - (ca. 1753 - 1806) (his name was archaically romanized as Outamaro) was a Japanese printmaker and painter, and is considered one of the greatest artists of woodblock prints (ukiyo-e).

Kawase Hasui - Kawase Hasui (川瀬 巴水, 1883 – 1957) was a Japanese woodblock, or ukiyo-e printmaker in the early 20th century. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest artists of the shin hanga style, and is known especially for his excellent landscape prints.
